Kollamai Oolong Tea sits beautifully between our green and black teas — partially oxidized to capture the best of both worlds. The leaves are carefully withered, bruised, and given just enough oxidation to develop complexity, without going as far as a full black tea.
The result is a smooth, layered cup: floral and slightly fruity notes upfront, with a subtle roasted depth on the finish — nowhere near as grassy as green tea, nor as bold as our CTC blends. It’s a tea for slowing down and noticing the nuance in each sip, popular with those exploring beyond everyday chai.
Steep in water just below boiling for 3-4 minutes — oolong leaves often unfurl beautifully and can be steeped a second time for a slightly different flavor note, so don’t rush to discard the leaves after one cup.
