Kollamai White Silver Needle Tea is the rarest and most delicate tea in our collection, handpicked using only the unopened, downy buds of the tea plant — never the leaves. Each bud is covered in fine silvery-white hairs, giving this tea its signature name and its soft, luminous appearance in the cup.

Unlike our bold, kadak CTC teas, Silver Needle is minimally processed — no rolling, no oxidation — preserving a naturally sweet, delicate flavor with subtle notes of honey and fresh hay. The brew itself is pale gold, light-bodied, and calming, making it a favorite for a gentle, antioxidant-rich cup any time of day.

Steep gently in water just below boiling (not a hard boil, unlike our CTC teas) for a few minutes to let the delicate buds unfurl and release their natural sweetness. A tea best enjoyed slowly, savored for its purity rather than its strength.

Each 50g tin is a little more precious than our everyday teas — a little goes a long way, yielding approximately 20-25 delicate cups.
